I had broken the original lid of my cup, it was the best lid I ever had, never spilled or opened on its own or when the cup fell/tilted. I was skeptical of buying a replacement since the company i got the cup from doesn¡¯t sell just the lid. These lids surpassed my expectations! Just like the original! No spills and perfect fit!

I think these lids are nicer than the one that came with my Yeti.Leak-proof silicone is a little hard to open and close; but it does not leak when closed.

At first, I thought the top didn’t fit, but it did. It creates such a tight seal that you have to open the slider before putting it on, and then once the cover is closed, you can slide it to close it. Some comments complain that the liquid does not flow when drinking, but I don’t think this is a problem. Maybe there is a redesign, because when the slider is in the open position, there is a small hole open, which I think is the reason to keep the liquid flowing. When the slider is closed, the small hole is sealed with a small piece of silica gel. I can clean it by hand or on the top shelf of the dishwasher. A little condensation will form under the slider, but I’m not sure this is a problem. All in all, I feel strongly. It is of good quality, fits perfectly and is completely leak-proof, which is enough to make me feel comfortable when I put it in my bag or backpack when it is full.

I love my 30 ounce stainless steel water cup so much. It’s a shame the lids don’t last as long as the cup. I love ice and I’ve cracked many a lid from pushing the lid closed or dropped the cup and it sustain no damage but the lid shattered.
I kept buying cups just for the lids and thought they must have replacement lids. These are better than the original.
The seal is stronger and the lid can be easily closed if you’re not a straw user and if you are, it has a divet to hold your straw in place.
Amazing price and value. Not sure when I will need more but I will DEFINITELY buy these again.

The tumbler can be used again, because the cheap original gasket has never had a great seal, and it has deteriorated over time. This new cover is perfect for sealing and preventing overflow.
